Terms of Use

1. Order

If you place an order for a product on our website, that order is an offer to purchase the product sold on our website. No cancellation of the order is accepted after you place an order for a product.

You must provide your full legal name, current address, a valid email address, and any other information needed in order to complete the shopping process.

Once an order is processed, the customer will receive a confirmation email.

We may send you a “cancellation e-mail” indicating that your order is cancelled, if any of the circumstances set forth below occur, regardless of whether an “order confirmation” email has been sent to you. Your order will be deemed cancelled upon the transmission of a “cancellation e-mail” from our website to you.

  1. The product(s) you ordered is/are not available or out of stock due to unforeseen circumstances and is/are not expected to become available in the future;
  2. It becomes clear that the information you provided to us is inaccurate; or
  3. We reasonably determine that it is appropriate to cancel your order.

If we send you a “cancellation e-mail” after you have made a payment for the product(s), the purchase cost will be refunded to the customer via the PayPal.

2. Payment

You are requested to make a payment for the product(s) in advance via PayPal.

3. Pricing

JPY on our website means Japanese yen. Products are sold in Japanese yen only. Consumption tax is not charged on items for overseas delivery.

4. Shipping

We offer international shipment, and all the items are shipped from Japan by Express Mail Service(EMS) via the Japan Post.  EMS delivers to over 120 countries worldwide.  EMS has both an insurance and a tracking system.

There may be cases where tariffs, import duties or other taxes or customs fees, etc. may be imposed depending on the country to which the shipment is made. You will be responsible for the payment of Tariffs, etc.

5. Return Policy

Products which are either order-to-made items, or used or vintage, may not be returned nor exchangeable.

You cannot cancel an order after it has been processed.

Because orders are shipped internationally, exchanges cannot be made due to customer error, so please order carefully!

We try to ensure that all product information is accurate and complete, and that the photographs clearly indicate the shape, color and so on of each item.  We are happy to answer any question about your order beforehand.

Upon request from the customer, the return of a product will be accepted where any defect (i.e.  damage, etc. which existed from the beginning or which occurred during shipment) is discovered as long as the product is returned to us (at our cost) within 14 days of the date of its arrival at the shipping address provided.

When a product is returned, the amount which the customer paid to us will be refunded (Shipping fees will be deducted in cases where the product is returned for any reason attributable to the customer), but no interest will accrue with respect to the amount to be refunded by us.

We will not accept any return of any products after the expiration of return period.

This Privacy Policy covers Kimokame’s treatment of personal information that our site gathers when you visit it and use our services. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Kimokame does not own or control, or to individuals that Kimokame does not employ or manage.

3. Jurisdiction

The Tokyo District Court shall be the court of first instance having exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from Kimokame.com.
